배움의 주기

Just about any institution you can think of (science, medicine, religion, etc.) started out with pure intent but have to some extent been coopted by special interests, resulting in todays version being part truth and part narrative. 

우리가 생각할 수 있는 그 어떠한 제도라도 (과학, 의학, 종교 등) 순수한 의도로 시작했으나 특정한 이해 관계를 어느 정도는 흡수할 수밖에 없다. 그 결과 오늘날 부분적으로는 진실이면서 부분적으로는 이야기가 되어버렸다.

 

Sorting truth from narrative is part of the Shift. 

이야기와 진리를 구별하는 것도 성장의 한 요소다. 

 

Our individual self-sovereign ascension process starts with the courage to test and rethink our previously unquestioned learning. 

개별적이고 주체적인 어센션 과정은 과거에 의문없이 학습한 것들을 테스트 하고 다시 생각하는 용기와 함께 시작된다.

 

This ongoing learning/relearning process can be seen as a repeating circle:

지속적인 배움/재학습 과정은 다음과 같은 주기로 반복된다.

1. I realize how little I know, so I adopt or adhere to what someone thinks is true

내가 얼마나 아는 게 적은지 깨닫는다. 그래서 다른 사람이 진리라고 말하는 것들을 받아들이거나 집착한다.

2. I assume what I know is ‘Truth’

내가 아는 것이 절대 진리라고 단정한다.

3. I note parts of what I ‘know’ don’t hold up. I’m confused/conflicted, reluctant to be disloyal to prior teachings 

내가 아는 것 중에 뭔가 안 맞아들어가는 부분을 알아차린다. 헷갈리고 갈등하는데, 이전의 가르침을 배반하기가 찝찝하다.

4. I begin my own investigation/thinking, updating parts of what I thought I knew

내 자신의 조사/숙고를 시작하면서 안다고 생각했던 것들을 업데이트 한다.

주기를 처음부터 반복한다.

 

The first time around (indoctrination & intellectual training wheels), learning comes from others.

첫번째 단계에서는 (주입 및 머리로 훈련시키는 쳇바퀴) 배움이 타인을로부터 온다.

 

The next several times around (investigation & thinking), learning comes decreasingly from others and increasingly from our own conclusions, assisted by intuition and (where did THAT come from) inter-dimensional inspiration. 

그 다음 몇 단계 동안에는(조사와 숙고), 타인에게 배우는 부분이 줄어들고 자신이 내리는 결론으로부터 배워나간다. 이 때는 직관 및 다차원의 영감에서 도움을 얻는다 (직관 자체가 다차원에서 오는 것이다).  

 

Eventually, intuition and inter-dimensional assistance (divine inspiration) account for most new learning.  
마침내 대부분의 새로운 배움이 직관과 다차원적 도움 (신성한 영감)으로부터 온다.

Ironically, most judgement about what’s true for those who’ve completed the circle (perhaps multiple times) comes from the masses that got stuck at step 2 the very first time! 

역설적이게도 이러한 주기를 마친 사람들(아마도 여러 번)에 대해 옳고 그름을 판단 분별하는 이들은 대부분 첫번째 주기의 2번에 머물러 있는 사람들이다.

 

For me, truth is something that’s held up for several trips around the circle. 

내 경우에 진리는 이러한 주기를 몇 번 거친 끝에 얻어진 것들이다.

 

Prior to that, what I ‘know’ is just my current working theory. 

더 우선하는 것은, 내가 아는 것들이 현재 작업 중인 나의 이론에 불과하다는 것이다.
